A 46-year-old Salina man was booked into the Saline County Jail early Thursday morning on a charge of sexual battery.

Lt. Sean Morton of the Salina Police Department, says Terrance Barker, of 1781 S. Broadway #17, is alleged to have touched a female acquaintance inappropriately about 1AM Wednesday at a north Salina home.

The woman called police and Barker was taken into custody late Wednesday.
