Josh Ludy’s two-run single in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie and Baylor held on for the final t hree innings as the fifth ranked Bears downed Kansas State in baseball 5-2 Friday evening at Tointon Family Stadium.

K-State fell to 17-16 on the year and 3-7 in Big 12 play. Baylor is 28-7 and 13-0.

The two teams play Saturday at one p-m in Manhattan.
