The City of Salina Department of Public Works will begin replacing the pavement west of the intersection of Inez Avenue and North Ninth Street starting Thursday, April 19, 2012.

Traffic will not be allowed through Inez Avenue and will be detoured through Antrim Avenue during the repairs.

Crews will be removing and replacing the pavement to improve the flow of stormwater in this area. The work will start at 7:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. daily. Repairs are expected to take 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the weather.

The City of Salina Department of Public Works will begin replacing the valley gutter north of the intersection of Idlewilde Place and North Street starting Monday, April 23, 2012.

Traffic will not be allowed through Idlewilde Place and will be detoured through Bromac Avenue during the repairs. Crews will be removing and replacing the valley gutter to improve the flow of stormwater in this area.

The work will start at 7:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. daily. Repairs are expected to take two weeks, depending on the weather.
