Since the Saline County Attorney’s office issued an arrest warrant on charges of first-degree murder and child abuse for a 25-year-old Salina man in connection with the death of an 18-month-old girl early this month, police have received few leads.

Lt. Scott Siemsen of the Salina Police Department that a few tips have come in concerning Troy Love, the second from Crimestoppers, but nothing substantial with the possible whereabouts of Love.

Love is a suspect in the death of Bre’Elle Jefferson, who was taken to Salina Regional Health Center the afternoon of April 9th after being found not breathing at her home.

She was transferred to a Wichita Hospital where she died the evening of April 10th.
