A Salina man was injured in a car vs. motorcycle accident at Country Club Road and Simpson Road around 8:13 Wednesday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 78-year-old Opal L. Ryff was westbound on Country Club road and turned south to go onto Simpson road striking a motorcycle that was eastbound on Country Club Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, 30-year-old Robert A. Small of Salina, was transported to Salina Regional Hospital with injuries. He was reported to be in fair condition Wednesday afternoon.

Ryff was not injured.
