An Orlando Florida woman tells police that several thousand dollars in jewelry is missing.

The woman had been staying at the Day’s Inn at 407 W. Diamond Drive, and when she was checking out between 10:30 and 11am Sunday morning, the backpack that contained the jewelry was taken or misplaced.

The woman doesn’t know if she had left it in her room or in the parking lot of the motel.

When she went looking for it, it was gone.

The jewelry was David Yurman jewelry including necklaces and rings and were in black showroom boxes.

Value of the jewelry placed at $18,150.
