A power outage in Salina Tuesday afternoon was reportedly caused by a bird.
The power substation located near the intersection Crawford Street and Graves Boulevard, was one of the largest in Salina, affecting those west of 9th st.
Over 5,000 Westar Customers have been effected.
Power was expected to be back on no later than 5:30 p.m.
