Two Injured After Rear End Collision On I-70 Near Salina

Two people were injured after one vehicle rear-ended another in the westbound lane of I-70, a half mile from the I-1345 interchange, around 4pm.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, both vehicles were west bound on I-70 when one vehicle slowed for traffic and the second vehicle struck the rear of the other.

39-year-old Lenna Michel Hokanson of Abilene and 67-year-old Shirley Benning of Overbrook, KS were transported to Salina Regional Hospital with injuries.

No others were injured in the accident.
