1. Our city officials need to ban fireworks this year. I’m sorry but it’s way too hot out and way too dry to allow fireworks. If they don’t there are going to be a TON of fires.

2. I’ve never enjoyed heat, but I’m enjoying it this year. Climate change deniers are about to eat crow.

3. I heard we are getting a Chipotle, anybody know any details?

4. I work and live in Salina and we frequent Kenwood Cove. I was there today and that pool water was so cloudy and dirty, and the baby pool was even worse. It even smelt funny. They raised the rates on everything 50¢ and the water’s nasty and dirty. It’s not fit for people to pay the extra money for. It’s only been open for 2 years and they’re already having trouble keeping it clean. Their filtering system should be doing something.

5. Every single day I see people driving while texting. It’s sad, but I think it’s going to take someone going to prison for vehicular homicide before people wake up.

6. Going to the Salina Walmart is like taking a trip to a third world country. Except third world countries have nicer people.
