SOUND OFF

1. I visited the Donna L. Vanier Center yesterday and was very impressed with the building. Tom Martin should be very proud of the team he put together to design and construct this building. What a beautiful building.

2. I was wondering what shape the water is in at Kenwood Cove. Has anybody been there in the past couple of days? I don’t want to take my grandchildren if it’s still all scuzzy.

3. To everyone that’s complained about the fireworks and being dry, if you would watch the weather, it was dryer and hotter last year at this time. Some people in Salina are responsible and can take care of their actions.

4. To all the people that are saying that fireworks are starting all the fires, that’s not true. A freight train going down hot railroad tracks can spark and cause fire, people that smoke throwing their cigarettes out the window can start fires. I wish people would grow up and blame the people that need to be blamed.

5. I wish the fireworks were banned. Tired of all the idiots shooting them off all night long.

6. I was all excited about happy hour being back but can’t find any place in Salina that’s even doing it.

7. Biggest baseball tournament of the summer and the lights aren’t working at Dean Evans stadium! Way to go Salina, good planning.
