Salina Falcons fresh off a 36 hit double-header against McPherson just the day before, the Falcons kept swinging the hot bats collecting 19 hits in a seven inning 16-5 win over Ottawa County.

Through three innings it looked as if it was going to be a nose to nose nine inning game at Dean Evans Stadium with Ottawa County leading 4-3 heading into the fourth inning, but once Chance Thomanson bunted home a run to tie the game, the Falcons soared on from there picking up eight runs off eight hits in the fourth inning alone to lead 11-4.  Falcons would tack on two more in the fifth inning and three in the sixth to win 16-5.

Dalton Dooley and Taylor Bradley both had tremendous day hitting combining to go 9 for 9 and three runs batted in.  Mason Brightbill as well was 2 for 4 with both hits being two doubles and Mark Vaughn had four runs batted in.  Jackson Rolfs got the win pitching over 100 pitches for five innings of work giving up eight hits and striking out six.

Falcons (23-7) will have two games on Saturday starting at 11am at Dean Evans Stadium.  They will be playing Ottawa County once again and Newton
