Salina Police are working a pair of vehicle burglary cases that are possibly connected.

Friday afternoon between noon and 12:45, someone broke the passenger window of a car belonging to a woman from Gorham, and took two purses and contents belonging to the woman and a friend.

The car was parked in the parking lot at Red Lobster (2925 S 9th).

Loss and damage placed at $1,220.

Then, between 12:50 and 1:30 a car parked in the parking lot at Coyote Canyon at 2351 S. 9th, was broke into and two purses and the contents including two cell phones belonging to a woman and friend from Abilene were taken.

Loss and damage placed at $1,786.
