A Junction City woman was reportedly injured in a two vehicle accident on I-70 in Geary County, shortly before 8 am Tuesday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Ana M. Rivera-Davila of Junction City was  eastbound on I-70 when she attempted to make a u-turn and was struck from behind by another eastbound vehicle driven by 27-year-old Lindsay M. Banks.

Earlier we reported that Banks was transported to the Geary County Hospital with disabling injuries (according to the official KHP report), but Geary County Officials have stated that Rivera-Davila was the person transported to Geary County Hospital.
