SOUND OFF

1. Seems like everyday someone has to complain about Salina and how bad it is. I agree, there is a lot of work to be done in this town not only cosmetically but also with the people who live here. We all live here and it’s our home! Let’s stop complaining and do something about it! (Hey, it could be worse. We could live in Detroit! Yikes!)

2. Wish we weren’t so nit picky as a society, no one would have noticed if Luke Bryan caught a glance at his watch or had some of the lyrics on his hand. Grow up AMERICA!

3. The kids behind the ramada on crawford have a good racket going on. They are sneaking into the building and going to the pool area and stealing what they can and sneaking off with room keys and stealing from the rooms. Staff acted like it is no big deal.

4.  I’m for the LGBT ordinance, but I still believe that it needs to be a public vote. It’s a big issue and shouldn’t be left up to 5 people. Let the people vote.

5. The chief budget office has come out with new statistics and the rich are paying more than their fair share, more than 70% of all the taxes.

6. I would like to see a study on whether texting while driving or elderly drivers are more dangerous? Everyday I see at least one old person driving 25 mph down Ohio, driving on top of a lane.
