SOUND OFF

1. Penn state should take a steam roller and flatten the Joe Paterno statue. Anyone who protects a baby raper should not have a statue.

2. The Department of Education should be very proud. They’ve successfully delivered more unintelligent, uninformed sheep that will re-elect Obama.

3. Why doesn’t Salina have a Chuck E. Cheese? My kids would be in heaven if we had one in town.

4. I’m amazed at how many people I see leaving their kids or dogs in the car with only the windows cracked while they go into a restaurant or store. Think people! This is dangerous on so many levels. Do not leave your kids or children in hot cars EVER, not even for a minute.

5. I saw a few people protesting Brownback when he was in town and I can only wonder what people are doing protesting in the middle of the day on a Tuesday? Get a job. You look like fools.

6. I’m glad that Happy Hour is back but I don’t see any bars in Salina offering any specials. In Lawrence there’s all kinds of fun Happy Hour specials.

7. I feel bad for the kids that spin the signs on Crawford. It’s too hot to dance around outside for hours.
