1. Why in the world are people still allowed to water their lawns?! We are in a drought and there is no sign of relief. Time for a ban.

2. We are in a mess here, folks. Economy is in the toilet and this heat is going to cause more damage to the economy around here.

3. Read an article about how Norway handled things after the shooting massacre there last year – they didn’t do a single thing differently. They said they didn’t want to be reactionary. They embraced freedom and openness and they haven’t had a problem since. We should follow their lead, instead of listening to the talking heads on TV and all the new laws they want to pass.

4. Loving the Salina Post App. You guys are, by far, the best around!

5. When do we find out if the LGBT ordinance will be on the ballot?

6. I wish there was a third nominee in the election. I don’t think I can vote for Obama or Romney.
