Once again, ABC jumped the gun (pardon the phrase) when it came to reporting the Colorado shooting.

Brian Ross, who does most of his investigative reporting on the internet, followed the media script and tried to attach the shooter to the TEA Party. As usual, he came on and said his oops apology which is too little to late for me and hopefully many other Americans.

His mission was to plant the seed. That he did. No matter how many times ABC says we goofed, it will not make the seed go away, and, like it or not, there will be those who will not spit the seed out; they will eat the fruit.

Gone are the days of the great ABC anchors….Huntley, Brinkley, Renolds, and to some extent, Jennings. Truth be known, gone are the days of real unbiased news reporting.

Me thinks it’s time to turn off the evening news, stop the newspaper delivery and just put on the wet suit and surf the web for the truth….if there is such a thing any more.
