Two Salina residents were injured in a single vehicle accident Saturday, west of Topeka on I-70.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a car driven by 46-year-old Lisa Platt was westbound on I-70 just west of the K-99 exit when Platt fell asleep.
The car went into a broad slide into the median, turned over twice coming to rest on it’s wheels in the median.
Platt and a passenger, 18-year-old Raimie Platt also of Salina, were taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka from treatment of injuries.
The crash occurred about 3:45am Saturday morning.
