SOUND OFF

1. For all u constitution buffs who live on the separtion of state and religion: where was the uproar when our governor ordered flags at half staff last friday, for the mosque killings?

2. I can’t believe the county hasn’t fixed the pothole at State Street and Powers. It is extremely deep and dangerous, and you barely have time to react coming over the hill unless you know it’s there. At this point it is criminally negligent- somebody is going to get hurt, or at the very least, really mess up their vehicle!

3. Who in their right mind is going to vote for the Mormon and the guy that wants to end social security? Haha.

4. When are we going to issue a water warning, Salina? It’s time to stop wasting water on keeping grass green. We shouldn’t even be allowed to have grass that needs daily watering.

5. What the heck is up with all the inmates escaping from jails in Kansas? I think somebody needs to be inspecting these jails and figuring out why this seems to be happening so often.

6. I swear, there are more gigantic kids walking around Salina than I’ve ever seen anywhere. It’s ridiculous and sickening. If you have a morbidly obese child and you are letting them drink 44 oz mountain dew, you should go to jail for child abuse. These kids are going to have all kinds of health problems and then us taxpayers are going to end up paying all the medical bills. Wake up parents and be responsible!
