Salina Man Gets More Than 6 Years In Prison For Dealing Meth

A Salina man who admitted receiving more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine for street distribution has been sentenced to 81 months in federal prison, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.

26-year-old Jamey Allen Holub, of Salina, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. In his plea, Holub admitted he bought methamphetamine from co-defendant Kevin Dale Ashcraft for distribution in the Salina area. Wiretapped phone calls revealed that the two talked regularly, arranging for the flow of drugs and money for their illegal business.

Co-defendants include:
Kevin Dale Ashcraft, who is set for sentencing Sept. 28. He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Lisandro Clara-Fernandez, who is set for sentencing Sept. 28. He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Dennis Augustine, who is awaiting sentencing. He was convicted on two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
