Donald Ray Smith Sr., 54, of Salina, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012. He was born Oct. 6, 1957, in Woodward, Okla., to Donald Franklin Smith and Ruth Ann Wellman.

Preceded in death: his mother, Ruth Mankle; two sisters, Barbara Weishaupl and Beverly Russell; and a brother, James Smith.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Matt) Hall; granddaughters, Hanna and Addison; son, Donald; sisters, Sherry Metcalf and Margot Welch; two brothers-in-law; stepfather, Marvin Mankle; and father, Donald Franklin Smith.

Memorial service: 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
