A car stolen during the early morning hours Sunday, involved in a hit and run not to far from where the car was stolen.

The 2001 Pontiac Grand Am was taken from the home of Shana Cleavenger in the 800-block of Cherokee between midnight and 4:41am.

A spare key to the car along with a 32″ Sony TV and two pair of kids tennis shoes were taken from the home in addition to car.

Cleavenger reported the car stolen about the same time it was involved in a hit and run in the 1500-block of Dover Circle.

The Grand Am struck the back of a legally parked 2000 Ford F-150. whoever was driving the car, apparently left the area on foot.

The TV and tennis shoes were not found in the car.

Value of the TV, tennis shoes, and Grand Am listed at $2,965.
