Range and pasture condition declined slightly from the previous week to 7 percent very poor, 19 percent poor, 38 percent fair, 34 percent good, and 2 percent excellent, with the risk of range fires on the rise in many areas.  Producers are beginning to supplement dry pastures and stalks with hay and other feed for their cattle.

Feed grain supplies were rated 98 percent adequate to surplus, while hay and forage supplies were 95 percent adequate to surplus.
