Rifles and a shotgun were among items taken in a home burglary in northwest Saline County sometime within the last two weeks.

The Saline County Sheriffs Office has taken a report that between November 3rd and November 14th, someone entered the home of Wayne Norman in the 3800 block of House Road and took a Remington 270 rifle with a Minolta scope, a Remington 860 12 gauge shotgun, a Savage 270 rifle with scope, several hunting knives, a back pack, binoculars and a digital camera binoculars.

Value of the items taken in excess of $1250.

Information on how the intruder made entry to the home was not available.
