An Ellinwood woman was injured in a two vehicle accident on US-56, just west of the I-135 junction in McPherson, around 6:21 pm Wednesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Joyce Burress was northbound exiting I-135 to US-56, when she failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck by another vehicle.
Burress was transported to Memorial Hospital with injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
