A construction trailer at the site of a cell phone tower was broken into sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, someone cut the hasp off of the trailer, owned by Chaffin Tower Services of Hulbert Oklahoma. that was parked near the intersection of Cunningham Road and Crawford Street.

Taken were a large quantity of hand tools, cordless power tools, a half dozen two way radios, two transits, and a chain saw.

Loss and damage placed at $11,700.
