Employees of the Salina Regional Health Data Center walked in on a burglary in progress early Friday morning.
Police were sent to the Data Center at 715 E. Iron around 5:15am after employees arriving for work found a man inside the building.
Officers stopped 22-year-old Dakota Collins in the 600 block of E. Iron a short time later and discovered he had taken computer equipment that was recovered on the roof of the building, and also damaged a switch to an air handler in the building.
Collins was charged with aggravated burglary, theft and damage to property.
There was no sign of forced entry to the building.
