A Minneapolis man was injured in a single vehicle accident just north of the Saline County line (.1 mile South of Aspen Rd), shortly after 5 PM Thursday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Nicholas E. Coleman was southbound on N 170th Rd, when the ’98 Chevy Cavalier he was was driving began having mechanical problems. The vehicle veered off to the right shoulder, struck an embankment, went back across the roadway and came to a stop.

Coleman was reportedly transported to Salina Regional Health Center with injuries.

His condition was not immediately known.
