Salina Police take reports on two vehicle burglaries in same area of town from Sunday evening into Monday morning.

Between 9:00pm Sunday and 7:00am Monday, someone pried a door handle broke a rear view mirror and broke out two windows on a 2004 F-150 while it was parked in a driveway in the 2100-block of Hillside.

Taken from inside the truck owned by 57-year-old Eric Lund was his wallet with $200 in cash and credit cards and drivers license. Loss and Damage placed at $1,239.

Then between 10:00pm Sunday and 6:00am Monday, someone got into a pickup parked in a driveway in the 500-block of Regent. The pickup is owned by 56-year-old Robert Ellis, and was unlocked.

Taken was his wallet with $400 in cash and credit cards and drivers license, $300 cash and 10-one dollar gold coins that were inside the cab of the pickup.

Loss placed at $737.
