SOUND OFF
1. Yesterday myself and my family (my two children & sister-in-law) were in an auto accident. My 3 year old son was very shaken up until a soldier pulled over n waited with us until the ambulances arrived. I didnt catch his name but hope that he will read this or someone that knows him reads it and passes on our gratitude. We’d like to say thank you, sir from the bottom of our hearts.
2. Building a privacy fence. Should I seek a permit or just put it up without one? Tired of giving the city money so they can waste it on ugly art and electric trucks! Your thoughts Salina?
3. What is the matter with you people. Don’t you understand that Obama is allowed to go on vacation just like the Bushes, Reagan, or any of the other Republicans. Knock it off. You know, this just happens with every party. Thank you and have a good day.
4. To the little girl involved in the accident at Broadway & Walnut monday afternoon, I looked everywhere for your doggie “buds”, because you were so upset. I’m sorry but I couldn’t find your doggie. And my prayers are with your family & hope all are ok from accident
5. So in two tragic accidents, one in Ohio and one in Texas, 11 teenagers died- 2 automobile accidents. Yet, we don’t have a cry to ban teenagers driving cars. If we would just ban teens and cars, we could save innocent teenagers lives. Besides, driving is a privilege; driving is not a right.
6. The department of homeland security’s stated mission is “to secure the nation from the many threats we face.” There is no mention of foreign threats. The “we” appears to be the government. The DHS classifies religious pastors and veterans as terrorists. The DHS is purchasing 1.6 Billion rounds of ammunition. Beware Americans, beware!
