The Dickinson County Sheriffs Office seizes 4.2 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon on I-70 just west of Abilene.
According to a release from the Dickinson County Sheriffs Office, Deputies found the methamphetamine hidden in two plastic coolers, along with other items of drug paraphernalia.
Two North Carolina residents were arrested. They were traveling back to North Carolina from California.
The methamphetamine seized has a street value of over $192,000.
The Dickinson County Sheriffs Office will be asking the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Topeka to aid in the prosecution to the two arrested.
