The following a release from Saline County Sheriff’s Office:

On Saturday, April 13th, 2013, at 11:11 P.M., Saline County Sheriff’s Office deputies and EMS were sent to 4300-block of North Gerard Road for a shooting.

41 year old Jonnie Koop, who lives at that address, reported that he had been shot in the leg from a drive-by shooting.

Koop had a gunshot wound on one of his legs and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Koop was treated and released from the hospital.

At the time of this information, investigation is open, and there have been no arrests.
