Police Looking For Suspect In Wednesday Stabbing

stabbingSalina Police looking for a suspect who stabbed a man several times during an altercation in the southwest part of town Wednesday afternoon just before 5:00pm.

Lt. Scott Siemsen says the 26 year old victim had been in several different arguments with a woman acquaintance and a man she was with in the area of the Kansas Drivers License Office, when the argument turned physical in the 1800 block of W. Schilling Road.

Several punches were thrown and both men wrestled on the ground before the suspect stabbed the victim eight times, 6-times in the back- once in the abdomen, and once in the thigh,before leaving the area in the car of the woman.

Witnesses to the fight called authorities.

The victim was admitted to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of his wounds.

The suspect is described as a white male, 21 years of age, 5’7″ 140lbs with dirty blonde hair, a goatee beard, and was wearing a black hoodie.
