The Salina Police Department and Saline County Sheriffs Office will be out with extra officers and deputies Thursday into Friday morning looking for drivers under the influence.

Salina Police will conduct two DUI check lanes from 10:00pm till 2:00am following the “Festival Jam” that is the opening of the 2013 edition of the Smoky Hill River Festival.

The Saline County Sheriffs Office will during the same time frame conduct a saturation patrol in the Salina area looking for impaired drivers.
