A truck driver skips paying for 144 diesel fuel Monday evening.

Between 10:00pm and 10:50pm a male driver went into the 24/7 store at 2230 N. 9th and left a prepaid debit card with the clerk to pay for the fuel he was buying.

The clerk got busy, and then discovered that the driver had filled up and drove away.

The card at Net Spend card had no balance. The loss placed at $550.

A Brookville man tells police he had several items stolen out of the back of his pickup while it was parked in the 500 block of Bishop street between 11:00pm Monday and 5:20pm Tuesday.

Chad Milleson says a yellow in color 2003 Suszuki 125cc motorcycle, a gas can, and a tackle box were taken out of the bed of the pickup.

Loss placed at $605.
