November 28, 2010 – Children can mail a letter to Santa Claus and receive an answer, but only if they mail the letters in a special mailbox at the Salina Public Library, 301 W. Elm.
Children can mail letters in the special box at the Youth Services Department desk beginning November 26. Letters must be mailed by December 15 so Santa will have time to answer them. No postage is required to send the letters, but they must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for Santa to reply.
Last year, Santa received and replied to more than 250 letters from children at the Salina Public Library.
