Rant: Look at the rush to vilify the kids that got in the fight. They haven’t even had a trial yet and everyone is calling them murderers. ~ Anonymous

Rave: I agree about Salina being a great town. I say if you don’t like it, you know where the interstate is. ~ Salinaman

Rant: Our police chief said he feels sorry for the kids that killed that guy. Seriously? What a joke. They made a choice and it robbed a family of a loved one. This is the only place the sorrow should lie. ~ Rick

Rant: I currently reside in NYC, but I’m originally from Salina. I like to check up on the news from time to time and I just happened to see all of the attention about fireworks being legalized. This is a good example why I left. I’m continuously amazed at how an entire community can embrace something because it goes boom. May I suggest reading a book? ~ G

Rave: Anybody know when we can start buying fireworks? Seems like we should celebrate our freedom to buy them with a big display like skyfire! ~ Anonymous
