Rave: “Went to the South High production of Phantom of the Opera. I had misgivings about whether or not a high school could manage a production as big as this. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised. They did a fantastic job. The young lady who played Christine has a beautiful voice. Everyone did a fantastic job. Kudos.”

Rant: “As a former radio DJ, I have to ask. Why does Salina radio Suck so bad? I mean 99KG is alright. They at least play a wide variety of country. But the rock station in this town, plays the same 60 or 70 songs over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. I know its a classic rock station but there are other classic rock songs out there. Is it because the (title deleted) there is lazy or just doesn’t know anything about the music he’s programming? At least Jack FM is kind of starting to expand their playlist.”

Rave: “I’d like to compliment my neighbor Brad Lamer! He shoveled my snow and almost the entire block this last time and they were all double driveways! He is a great neighbor and he and his wife Cindy are sweethearts!”

Rant: “I can’t believe how dumb all you global warming deniers are. Please go educate yourselves. It’s simple science. I shouldn’t expect anything more, same people will deny evolution and accept creationism.”

Rant: “I wish you guys would have kept up the debate on Philips. Not sure why this issue was passed over like no big deal. They treat us like garbage, yet we give them tax dollars so they can bring in people from outside the city while they lay off Salina people. Don’t be like our other news people, keep turning up the heat on these crooks.”

Rant: “I would like to submit the high school music departments in Salina to the NFL people. They would do a far better job putting on a halftime show and national anthem than what we saw tonight (Last night).

Rave: “I want to thank the administrators at USD 305 for making the responsible decision to cancel school (last week). It was not safe for our children to be out in those conditions. I know it’s not an easy decision to make but it was the RIGHT one.”

Rant: “Fireworks are legal now, when are people going to stop talking about it! You got what you wanted. Now go burn your house down if you want.”
