My Town Hall Meeting

I’ll take a page from Mr. Moran and have a “pretend” Town Hall Meeting. The subject will be USD 305, and how candidates for school board would answer some questions. I would like your input as how I would have answered these questions. (If you do a good job, you probably should run for schoool board next time around).

1. The Local Budget Option is capped at 30 percent. Should it be uncreased? Why or why not? (No, lowering it is not an option.)

2. In light of higher transportation and fuel costs,should the district reduce some extra curricular activities?

3. What good decisions has the district made in the past 3 years?

4. What poor decisions has the district made in the past 3 years?

I would give my answers, but I do not want to influence yours. If I get enough input I will share my responses.
