Salina area home sales rose by 7.8% for February compared to the same time period last year, February 2010.

Home sales totaled 55 units in February 2011 compared to 51 for February 2010. The average sales price for February 2011 was $103,938 as compared to February 2010 of $106,585.

Judy Mitchell, 2011 Salina Multiple Listing President, reports the year to date sales for January 1 to February 28, 2011 was down 4.3%  compared to the same period in 2010  The average sales price of a home for this period in 2011 is $122,295 compared to $115,086 for 2010.
