The Salina Police Department with funding from the Enforce Underage Drinking Laws grant went to 22 businesses in Salina that sell alcohol Wednesday evening to check if they were in compliance with laws that prohibit the sale of liquor to people under the age of 21.

A 19 year year old male went in to the businesses and one of the businesses checked, a clerk did sell alcohol to the 19 year old.

That was T & R Liquor at 153 N. Broadway.

The clerk was cited for selling alcohol to a minor.
