MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) – Oklahoma’s Casey Johnson had a single, double and home run and drove in four runs as the Sooners beat Kansas State 14-3 in Big 12 baseball in Manhattan, Kan.
The win Saturday evens the three-game series at one game each with the finale on Sunday at 1 p.m. K-State won the first game 2-0 on Friday.
Johnson’s two-run home run came in the second inning and Cameron Seitzer added a three-run homer in the fifth.
OU improves to 24-7 overall and 6-4 in the Big 12 play while Kansas State falls to 17-12 and 3-8. The Sooners Burch Smith gets the win and is now 5-2 on the season while the Wildcats’ Matt Applegate drops to 3-2 with the loss.
