KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off preseason play the night of Aug. 12 with a nationally televised home game against Tampa Bay.

The Chiefs announced a four-game preseason schedule Tuesday, with dates and times for the final three still to be determined. For game two of the preseason, the defending AFC West champs head to Baltimore for a rematch of their playoff loss to the Ravens. The Chiefs host the St. Louis Rams in their third game, and wrap up the preseason at Green Bay.

The NFL’s owners and players remain deadlocked after a lockout was announced last month by the league, leaving the fate of the season uncertain.
