Kansas Signs McLemore, Anderson On Signing Day

They both verbally committed within the last two weeks and yesterday made it official. Shooting guard Ben McLemore and forward Braeden Anderson both sign their letters of intent and will play for Kansas next season.

McLemore is a 6’5” guard from St. Louis and is ranked No. 17 nationally by Rivals.com and is rated to No. 4 shooting guard. He began the year at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia but was dismissed for violating undisclosed team rules. The 6’8” Anderson is from Okotoks, Alberta, Canada and averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds last season.

Bill Self had already signed point guard Naadir Tharpe in the early signing period in November and now has three remaining scholarships for the class of 2011, unless freshman guard Josh Selby declares for the NBA, then he would have four.
