LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) – The son of a former NBA player is transferring from the Kansas Jayhawks. Freshman Royce Wooldridge says he’s going to another school so he can play more.

He scored nine points in 16 games for the Jayhawks this year, average less than 3 minutes a game. Woolridge is the son of former NBA player Orlando Woolridge.
