Salina Public Schools proudly announces the selection of Sherri Louthan as the Lakewood Middle School Principal effective July 13, 2011.
Louthan has been a public educator for over 16 years, most recently serving as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Activities for Clark County School District – SECTA, Las Vegas, Nevada since 2006.

She has also served in the capacities of middle school English and reading teacher, dean of students and site administrator. In addition, Louthan has served at all levels of education; elementary, middle school and high school. She is a Kansas native from Hugoton, where she began her teaching career.

Louthan earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University and her master’s in Educational Administration at the University of Phoenix, Las Vegas, Nevada.
