Senator Jerry Moran Announces Listening Tour Stop In Abilene June 4th

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) will visit Dickinson County on Saturday, June 4, 2011 during his statewide listening tour. Recently sworn in as a U.S. Senator representing Kansas on Capitol Hill, Sen. Moran is continuing his tradition of traveling back to Kansas at every opportunity to visit hundreds of communities throughout the state.

Sen. Moran will meet with residents in Abilene at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum, Visitor’s Center Auditorium, 200 SE Fourth Street, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Area residents are encouraged to attend.

The senator will travel to each of Kansas’ 105 counties to talk with area residents about their hopes and concerns. The issues Sen. Moran focuses on and the work he does in Washington, D.C., is largely based on the conversations he has with Kansans during these town hall meetings.
