The Saline County Sheriffs Office working theft and burglary cases in the county.

Between May 25th and 26th, Michael Becker of Lindsborg reports that someone removed 180-foot of insulated #10 gauge copper wire from a center pivot irrigation system located on the east side of Bridgeport.

Stainless steel straps were damaged to take the wiring.

Loss and damage placed at $1,510.

Then between May 20th and 27th someone went into an unsecured garage at 214 S. Main in Smolan and took hand tools, extension cords and and other items valued at $1,730.
