SALINA, KAN.— The Salina Symphony will team up with Kansas Wesleyan University to present a concert featuring music from “The Wizard of Oz” and the Broadway smash-hit musical, “Wicked” as part of the Smoky Hill River Festival on Sunday, June 12,
at 1 p.m. at the Eric Stein Stage. Performers will include a chamber ensemble of Symphony musicians and vocalists from Kansas Wesleyan University under the direction of Maestro Ken Hakoda.
Admission to the concert is by Festival button only. Buttons are $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. Children 11 and under enter free. Festival buttons can be purchased in Salina at the Smoky Hill River Museum (211 W. Iron), the Salina Arts and Humanities office, any Dillons grocer, Casey’s Stores, and the Bicentennial Center.
