A Hit and run investigation by police Thursday afternoon, leads to the arrest on an 18 year old on charges that included possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Officers were called to investigate a hit and run fender bender at the Corner Store at 9th and Crawford just before 2 pm .
While the officer was at the scene, he noticed a car matching the description of the suspect, drive by and pull into a drive of a home just east of the store.
The driver Cody Rinke of 1203 Carlton Place, got out of the car with a black bag and began running north.
Other officers arrested Rinke a short time later walking east on Prescott.
The found in the bag, 5 baggies of marijuana, a grinder and digital scales.
In addition to the marijuana charge, Rinke was also charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of the legal process for giving a false name, and hit and run.
